Accepting Entries: December 1st through December 23rd Voting: December 6th through December 23rd
Design and build a delicious dwelling out of gingerbread or graham crackers to enter in this year’s contest. We’ll display your creations, and everyone will be entered into a raffle to win goodies and prizes. Patrons will have a chance to vote both in-person and on Facebook.
Bring your completed entry form and ready-to-display house to the library starting Wednesday December 1st. Voting starts Monday December 6th and runs until Wednesday December 23rd. Entries will be accepted until December 18th. Winners will be announced on Thursday December 30th.
• Please bring a completed entry form with your house. • Family and other team entries are encouraged. • Pick up your house between Jan. 4th and 11th, 2021. Sorry, we’ll have to discard houses left behind after January 11th.
• Any architectural structure – real or imaginary – is eligible for entry. This can include a house, train station, bridge, ship, lighthouse, spaceship, and more! • Entries must be constructed after November 1st, 2021 (no vintage dwellings, please). Both kits and original designs are welcome. • Please deliver your house in its completed form and attached to a base ready for display. Finished houses can be big or small, but should be no more than 17” long x 13” deep x 13” high. • Construct each house primarily of gingerbread or graham crackers, with components that are edible. For example, unwrap foil or plastic wrapped candies, and limit the use of paper or plastic components.

• Everyone who submits a house will be eligible for a special prize. • Library patrons will vote on their favorite houses in a variety of categories.
