Volunteer Opportunities

The Town of Colchester relies on its citizens to help in many ways. Below is a list of our current volunteer opportunities. If you are interested in any of these groups, please submit an application form (see below) to the Town Manager's Office at the above address.

 

  • Search for Development Review Board Member

    • Are you interested in Colchester’s future developments? The Development Review Board is looking for a new member. We meet on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7 PM to review and approve or deny development applications. For more information call June at 264-5509.
  • Channel 17 Representative for Colchester

    • The Town of Colchester has an opening for a Channel 17 Representative.  The volunteer position will need to attend meetings on the third Thursday of every month at 5:00 pm at Channel 17 headquarters at 294 North Winooski Avenue in Burlington.  The meetings typically last an hour and a half.  For more information call June at 264-5509.


  • Search for Board of Ethics Member

    • The Colchester Board of Ethics is looking for a new member. There are no regular meetings for this Board but they do meet occasionally when an issue comes up. For more information contact June Campbell at 264-5509.

  • Cemetery Commission Members
The Colchester Cemetery Commission is looking for two new members. They meet once a month usually on the 2nd Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Download an application here or call 264-5509 for more information.
