Voter Information & Registration

The deadline to register to vote is 8 days prior to an election. If you have not voted in Vermont before, you must take the Voter's Oath. Visit the Vermont Secretary of State's page for information about the Oath.

The Town's Annual Meeting is held the first Monday evening in March, acting on those articles that are not covered by Australian ballot. Voting by Australian ballot is held the following day. The hours are 7:00am to 7:00pm at the following locations:

District 7-1 Colchester Meeting House

District 7-2 Colchester High School

Absentee Voting: Voting by absentee is when you request to receive and vote your ballot prior to the election day. Request an Absentee Ballott.
