Recorded Books ~ Instructions
First timers: get started here!You'll need your Burnham Library card, a computer with internet access, and the instructions below to get started. If you run into trouble, give us a call at 879-7576 and we'll walk you through it.

System Requirements for Installing Media Center Before you install NetLibrary Media Center, be sure that:
Supported operating systems Media Center is designed and supported for use with the following operating systems:
Note: Do not use Media Center with other operating systems, including the 64-bit version of Windows XP, earlier Microsoft Windows operating systems, Apple Mac operating systems, or Linux. Mac users can not use Media Center, but can still "manually download" a portion of the titles in the collection. Look for MP3 titles to download (WMA titles will not play on a Mac). Required software
Your computer may need some updates before you are ready to install Media Center. The software will perform these updates automatically during the download process. If updates are need Note for Windows 7 users: You have all the required software because it is included with Windows 7. Note for Windows Vista users: You have Windows Media Player 11 because it is included with Windows Vista. Note for iPod users: If you will transfer eAudiobooks in MP3 format to an iPod, you must also have iTunes installed on your computer.
Hardware requirements

Search for titles available in MP3 format. iPods can play MP3 files, but not WMA files. If you're using a Mac computer, refer to the instructions above.
