Interlibrary Loan Service

Burnham Library offers an Interlibrary Loan service to help give you access to materials from other libraries.

Please note that for seventeen of the libraries within Chittenden County, you can use your Burnham Library card and borrow items directly as a Homecard patron (Burlington's Fletcher Free Library does not participate in the Homecard system).

The time to retrieve an item through Interlibrary Loan depends on the availability of the title and the schedules of the owning libraries. Most requests are filled within a couple weeks.
