Vermont Department of Libraries
Online Catalog
You can access collection information for libraries around the state by searching the Vermont Department of Librares Online Catalog. You’ll need to telephone the owning library or visit its website to confirm whether the item is currently available or has been checked out.
For libraries in Chittenden County (except for Burlington's Fletcher Free Library), you can use your Burnham Library card to borrow through the 17-library Homecard system. To get access to Fletcher Free Library materials, you can either use your home library's Interlibrary Loan Service to get access to Fletcher Free materials or purchase a membership to Fletcher Free Library.
Please note that this catalog is really a librarians' resource, and sometimes it can get confusing! The easiest way to search for materials at other libraries is to contact your home library and let an Interlibrary Loan Specialist assist you. However, once you get used to this system, it's a very helpful resource to have at your fingertips. If you'd like to learn more about it, ask us for a quick tutorial next time you're in the library.
